New Madrid, MO | Menno Boy. There are 12 bars to a drum ,2 drums /head, 18 spindles/ bar X 4 rows +1728 spindles !!! & thats just on a 4 row!!! I just replaced 575 spindles wf nuts & bushings at $4.75 each. This is not counting 18 doffers & moisture pads / drum. There's a lot more going on in those cotton picker heads than what you think!!!!!! They don't just suck the cotton off the plants!!!!! If they did the would call em cotton suckers !!!!!!! Ha Ha !!!!!
