Michigan | Wasn't it hard to tear the old barn down? We did the same thing a few years ago. My wife's grandfather built it. At the time we tore it down - he was 98 and everyone was nervous about telling him. He completely understood - we needed a new building for storage and he saw the saftey issues with the old building. (He is still doing well at 103)
When it was down, I was amazed at roof. Individual cedar shingle that he nailed when he was in his 20's.
