Near-north Ontario, French River
We have had excellent luck with wheat after sweet corn. Sweet usually comes off in early august ,and seed wheat anytime after the 20 of sept. which gives ample time to work down the field and bury the trash that may harbour fusarium. Yes we still plan on spraying fungicide next year but like the fact that the wheat feeds off of any residual N left from the sweet corn crop.
