South Central Kansas
You closer to Braman or Medford?

Thanks for the info. Let me know how "first crop" that corn turns out. I've been toying with real DC corn if I can ever get the wheat off early. It;s usually DC milo or beans here, more milo than anything.

I planted corn on April 9 and April 20. The later corn made about 137 compared to the earlier, same number and soil type about one half mile apart, next year might be opposite. Hybrid was Midland 7A28bt a tough number to beat in SC Kansas.

Yeah, harvest and the non harvest was a real mess huh? Worst wheat crop we have had since 1955 the older guys tell me. Worst one for me in my 36 years of farming.

Hang in there.
