I have one dealer whose reps suggest a mid June window for DC corn and the one I follow suffests a July 4-10th window. I would imagine your Augusts are like ours here and usually blistering, which would have taken care of any tasseling/silking issues fer sure. I like the early July timeframe, puts tasseling into early Sept.
