The reports usually fails to mention that these are IRRIGATED soybeans. That makes a huge difference from typical dryland beans. He spoon feeds these beans the water they need through pod fill. Don't get me wrong, that is what should be done, he's managing things very well, it's just that most of us MO and IL drylanders don't have irrigation.
