It takes about 20,000 seeds per acre to make a decent stand of corn....roughly a fifth of a bushel.

Anyone who thinks corn fields aren't going to be green after harvest obviously doesn't pick in weather warm enough for it to sprout.


This business about 12-15 bu on the ground....come on, get real. You wouldn't be able to see a spot without a seed on it.

This is another one of those things people like to get all obsessive about when they don't have enough real problems to worry about.
