North Central Kansas | I wish we could send some of the rain to those who need it. Here in NCKS we have more than we need right now. Started Beans last Saturday. Rained 2.10 Sunday night. .40 today. Rain tommorrow, Sunday severy storms large hail heavy rain forecasted. Very few crops harvested in my area. Alot of wheat yet to plant. Fields saturated. Wheat fields that were planted have washed. Since August we have had around 10-13" of rain. Beans are still green and won't die. Milo is still green and falling down. Neighbor is picking corn that is down. It is sprouted. Alot of silage yet to be chopped in this area. That will be a muddy mess. | |
