Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | Cool, glad you had a good crop. The basin here has the smell of onions right now, nieghbors are chopping tops just south of the house, so I can really smell it here. Guess it was a bad year for white rot here. Lots of big spots in fields and a little everywhere it seems. Hope these guys can get them out soon so they don't have a repeat of a few years ago (trying to mud them out in January).
Friend of mine was bragging that they would be done with potatoes in just a couple of days at the rate they were going. They were up to around 140 loads/day. Then a little rain shower, and they are down to around 60 loads/day. Fighting vines and hauling lots of dirt. Guess it will take longer yet.
Why will they leave crop unharvested? Contracted tons? | |
