Malheur County Oregon | We had just over 9500 tons this year harvested. About 13.5 ton or so per truck.
The reason some stuff may not get harvested is that the price is just so cheap that they almost aren't worth harvesting plus all storage facilitys are full.
Last year for example which was a high price year a truck load was worth about 2400 bucks this year about 320 bucks.
Thank fully we had a lot of stuff contracted and pre sold. Still have nearly 1500 ton to try and get rid of on the open market later. Like february thru april of '08 | |
