On the subject of lime. I had a company rep. from a liquid fertilizer company in Ohio(won't name it here) Recommending huge amounts of high calcium lime on our soils(he had not looked at the soil tests) I'm talking 10 ton/a. Said the the dolomitic lime was harmful and contributing to compaction. Any truth to this, I did one test strip and haven't seen a difference. I am in southwest Indiana.
