The acres you have are very close to what I have, and I can most years raise all the feed (grain also) needed for a 60 cow dairy w/ replacements. J. Sheehan's comments are very good, I would only add that it's a thumb rule that you'll need to raise 10 hfrs for every 1 cow you could milk to create the same income. I don't think your acres would come close to producing enough feed for that many animals. If you where to raise forages only I would think you could raise enough for 90 to 100 cows w/ replacements, depends on your location. Good Luck
