Brinkley, Arkansas | msb....the bottom of the door rides on a track that can be recessed or mounted on top of an existing floor so the wind doesn't bother the bottom. When fully open there is a small chain and clip that attaches to the endwall so the doors can't be pushed closed. We are not in an area that has snow to any extent but I would suspect you'd have to clean a 3' strip in front of the door so it could freely hinge outward and push to the edge of the opening. My door is not insulated but I'm pretty sure they do make an insulated version.
