| I really think that you should go wider. By the time you get your benches drill press and other tools in you will just have a narrow alley to work on one piece of eq at a time. We actually put a heated shop in the end of a 54x120 building with 18 ft sidewalls. The shop size is 54x56 with a 24 foot door in the end and an 18 foot in the side. After 5 years I can't think of anything I would change. Went with floor heat with electric boiler- costs less than $5/day to heat. Good luck and don't be afraid to spend a little extra to do the job right. They are very expensive but you only get one chance and will last a couple of lifetimes. | |
