| Used to run a 3950, did an ok job most of the time, but sometimes it just wouldnt blow all the way back into the wagon, didnt matter much even if a bigger tractor was on it. I think the heads would match up, at least for haylage, the 35 has the same cutter head and I know the heads would mate between a 35 and 3940, but I am not sure. A neighbour had a straight through machine, and it seemed to never gum up, maybe something to do with not having the crop switch directions. Now I run a self propelled harvester and the only problem is keeping up to it!!! | |
