| Your friend was very lucky. I had a very good friend that wasn't so lucky back in 1978 & didn't make it out. I still think about him every time we unload corn out of the bins. It doesn't help that I was the one that talked him into putting up the bin & harvested his crops. The bin was just put up the previous summer & was the first time it had been filled.
Bin sat empty for years. The farm was finally sold but don't know if it was ever used . I don't like to drive by there.
Also had a good friend's FIL die in a grain bin accident 4 or 5 years ago.
