Subject: Re: 36" Rows

s.d.
I moved from 36" to 22" and I really think yield increase, earlier canapy offsets the the problems associated with the narrower rows. Yields have moved up 8 to 10 %. Even did some side by side tests 3 years ago and 8 to 10 % yield increase was found. But I also know some that had switched back to 30"so they are able to stiptill/fert on 30" rows. I like 22" vs 20" - - -2" is approx. 10% more area allows easier spraying and other field applications
