central MN | When we cultivated row crops we did it with a Challenger 35 with 16 inch tracks. No problems, liked it on the side hills because you didn't start to slide sideways like you do with wheels. That said there is a learning curve getting use to a track machine in rows. We now have a 745 don't cultivate but we do plant with it and put it on the grain cart, chop stalks when we are done combining. No tillage, use 95E for all of that. | |
