A polaris ranger chases cattle very well. If you want to work on fence, chore, ect, the bed is so mich nicer than an atv. Although, when I take the kids for a ride on a summer evening I always take the atv as I like to ride it much better. In the winter we only use the ranger as it has a "cab".
