So. IL | Had a 643 corn header on a 6600 with a 329 engine. Needed to add weights to the rear frame otherwise it was so nose heavy that it lacked steering when going downhill or if you slowed down to fast when on the highway.
If you have corn that averages 180 bushel or less you will get along fine with it. Above 180 bu/acre, it would probably be best if you went with a combine that had a 404 motor. | |
