When we still had a 60' sprayer I ran a whole year with just our Outback and it wasn't bad at all.  I have found that with our 90' sprayer it's a little harder to do odd shaped patches without using some foam but I'd give up the foamer before the GPS.  I will agree that a guy really needs to run a light bar for probably 20+ hours before you really get to where it's second nature to follow it.
