if you dont have either on hand a half a cup of diesel to a 5 gallon can works good too ,i have also added a cap full of ATF or engine oil to the tank on my power washer .
905of the problem is the gas evaporates and leaves behind residue ,the diesel seems to stop the carbs from getting that junk inside.
