Sarnia, Ontario | I have a 60 gallon stationary compressor in my shop, purchased new in Jan/97.
Recently it would not start & would kick out the motor reset button. I reset the motor and tried it again but the motor would not turn over the compressor. I removed the belt & the motor runs OK. I drained the pressure down in the tank to 0 psi & it would start & run as it used to but once it got up to pressure & shut off the same problem happened when the pressure got low enough to automatically start again.
I replaced the checkvalve but it the problem still exists.
Anybody else had this problem or know of website where I could ask this question?
