I agree with you that Marvin is about as knowledgable as you will find. He obviously is enthused as I have had some lengthy calls with him as well. I've got the air-jet chaffer and to be honest have a lot of trouble with it plugging. He has had me check numerous things but sometimes you want to harvest your crop instead of work on the combine. I do think if everything is set right it is a really good product but evidently you have to be more of a skilled tech like Pokey or Hagen to understand them. We had a 1680 and just this year traded for a 2388. I haven't tried it in the 23 yet but would like to. Hopefully it will have more air. I would probably sell this chaffer if I don't have better results in this new machine. I would probably pay some good money to have an expert come and give some good real life pointers on these a/f machines.
