We like them. We've had the Ford & NH versions that were previous owners to the one you're looking at. I assume this is a new tractor? You now have 25 mph road gear & electronic hydraulics. We've not had all the problems of the other poster. I actually think that version of the Funk transmission is nicer than the JDxx20 series, and certainly better than the CIH versions. Much more user friendly....I think. 2 doors on the cab still makes getting in/out very easy. Leaves you options.

You do have to realize most of the tractor was designed & released 1 yr before JD even had their 8xxx series, but it's still competitive, I think. The engine is only 7.4L where most have gone to 9+L now...but it does OK in the lower 200 hp bracket.

I think you'll be happy. Especially if you have a good dealer.

When do you expect to get the tractor? Are you getting the new hood series?
