Breckenridge, Michigan | Pat if I recall correctly recaps were about 75% of the cost of new, at that the time. I went up to Olsons in 2002 to see about recapping my 18.4-38 Firestones and they told me they had stopped doing it because it wasn't cost effective anymore. I wonder if it would be now that tires prices have really taken off these last few years? For what its worth they did do a very good job of recapping and I NEVER heard anyone complain about the quality of the product and knowing them if there had been a problem they'd have taken care of it. | |
