Wheatley, Arkansas | Go and buy yourself a fuel pump with a meter on it. Put your 9400 and a 8770 side by side pulling the same tool, the same speed ,and the same depth. Start with the tractors full of fuel, make sure you top them off good. Run the tractors for six hours and refuel them,again being sure to top them off good.
Take the number of gallons you put in each tractor, divide this number by six. This will give you the number of gallons of fuel each tractor uses in an hour. The 9400 will probably use about 50% more fuel, I say probably because I am comparing a 8770 to a 2005 9320 that has emissions that the 9400 probably doesn't have.
This is a very scientific test and is much more accurate than thumping a tire to determine air pressure, in fact this test would be as accurate as checking a tire with a good gauge to determine the pressure. JMHO.LOL.
