It would be harder to tell on a vehicle that doesn't get very good mileage. I changed to 5W-30 in my car and I have seen at least a 2 mpg improvement, maybe more. This car is good on fuel though, it was getting 30-31 mpg on mainly trips of 12-20 miles, and now I am getting 33-34 mpg with it. I honestly think I might get 40 mpg on a long drive. I am anxious to try it.
