I'd go w/the hydraulic hose myself. Just measure what you need, leaving plenty so you don't pull on swedge fittings, then have any local implement dealer make you a hose w/their standard quality hydaulic hose. If the compressor has 1" pipe thread (tapered) then I'd pesonally use 1" hose & reduce to your 3/4" line via one reducer fitting which should be pipe also. I wouldn't mess around w/compression fittings or jic fittings...just plain old pipe. You might also consider having that same implement dealer put a full swivel fitting on ONE end of that hose so you can tighten the thing up.

That's what I would do anyway if your project were mine.
