Manitoba | I bought a Yamaha Grizzly last summer and love it. Found it on ebay but bought it off the guy off ebay. He was 4.5 hrs away so because he seemed legit I took a chance and wired him a $500 deposit before I drove out there. Machine is an 04 and only had a couple of hundred miles on it. This guy would buy them in the twin cities area where I guess there are a lot of city guys who buy this expensive toy and end up never using it. I had to have the gaskets in the carb repaired on mine because they were dried out from sitting so long. I also came across a scam on the net. It wasnt ebay, just some classified. Ad made it sound like it was close by but actually it was across the country. Phoned the guy on his cell. He was in europe somewhere, had a strong eastern-european accent. He was very insistent that he could ship it to me for nothing, with no obligation. It smelled a bit to me so I hung up. | |
