Ethridge, TN
Just got a new 212 welder, and a 675 plasma. I was originally going to go for the 252, but the dealer we got the welder form said to save the difference in money, unless your into production welding, or are welding very heavy steel all the time. I have now done several major projects, and am well pleased with the 212. Doesn't have the digital readouts, but can't say that i think I'm missing anything for not having them.

On the plasma, I know you said you are planning on cutting sheet steel, but if you haven't used a plasma before, once you've got one, you are going to want to use it to cut everything, including heavy plate. I'd really opt up right from the start, and buy a larger unit than you really think you'll need, cause you'll end up wanting it in the end.
