Get the 252. I have the same 251 as what he does and it is a dandy machine.
One thing I have learned with welders over the years is you look at the one that suits your needs and then buy one two sizes bigger.
The 251 welds up to half inch steel I think.... And just like he said.... punch it in and start layin beads.
If ya do, and you have any aluminum around..... make sure you get the AL package when you buy the welder. I didnt because I didnt have the money at the time and it was 1000 dollars extra I think. I figured I would buy it later when I had better funding, but now it costs about 50 percent more. Wish Id have gotten it to begin with.
