East Central Wisconsin
Jim

i make fall strips(8"deep) and the ridge is not always perfect .I have been take the ridge down level for two reasons. One so the planter boxes(vac) don't bounce or jump ,witch helps with seed spacing. Two the ground is smooth,no holes or cracks to plant on to help germ.any drawback that you see by doing this?would the soil temp be that much different by not taking ridge down?

Thanks jim
