Most people here do not plant milo. It is to itchy for them. I like every other year on my dry land after a crop of soybeans.

I don't know the feed value without the head being chopped in with the stem, but it has to be as good as corn stalks. Not may choppers around here anymore. Most that do chop just hire it done.
