The University of Mo link above gives the range of milo's grain, leaf and stalk.

If you could chop it, that would be good. I have to bale it because that is my equipment. I have not had problems getting the stalk to dry. I run it through a mower-conditioner. Of course, some years are wet and it might rot before it cures. Just have not had that situation yet.

We have decided to bale most of our 180 acres. A friend has said he will take 100-200 bales. We can use 100 bales or so. We will see how many bales it produces.
