Unsure where you are located also. In Mo back in the good old days the rule for seeding rye, wheat, barley, was a bushel and a peck. Then it went to a bushel and a half. Then to two bushels with the newer varieties. NOW, no one knows. But Pioneer I think recommends 1.5 million seeds per acre. Rye should be near the same.
