| With the plant closings I will no longer be able to grow peas and beans as I will have no one to sell them to. Off the top of my head I think the plants use 40 to 50,000 acres in New York. That is if they do not find a buyer for the plants. I hope they do as we do not need that many more free acres to grow stuff on "here" As for my question on the action of the board......I think they got away from the original idea.......bought and sold things that had nothing to do with marketing vegetables.
