| In our area it would be highly unusual for the cash rent agreement not to come with written or verbal agreements on which the land is rented. These range from whether livestock grazing is allowed to specific weeds that must be controlled. In theory you are right, in practice it never works that way because more often than not you are renting one of the most valuable possessions a person has and they want to see it taken care of "right".
