Remsen, IA | I tried several passive range extenders on my Q500 with minimal increase in range. The powered extenders helped more and sometimes I could get across my fields but it was still hit and miss. Like the other poster said, orientation of the camera makes a big difference in reception but I don't want to worry about that. All the junk hanging off my controller also annoyed me and either had to come off to fit in the case or else the controller just got thrown somewhere. I switched to a P3 and its just plain awesome. Rock solid video and RC across all my fields. For my situation I wish I hadn't wasted the time and money trying to make the Q500 work better. | |
