Remsen, IA | I have the advanced. When I bought the Q500 it was purely for recreational use with the kids too. I saw a couple things show up by accident that got me interested in using it for farm work. If I position myself right I don't have to go out past a half mile to fly any of my fields and it is rock solid at that range. The farthest I've gone out is a mile and it was working fine. On the DJI forums they talk about going out further than that on a regular basis. | |
