As a drone owner for 2+ years and a drone dealer Ive had my own crashes, some bad some minor, and o have repaired many wrecks as well. So heres a little advice.

1. The standard props the p3 comes with are great. Sure there are other off brand options out there but I haven't heard of many good situations that result from using them. Stick with the 9540 props from the factory or their carbon fiber equivalent.

2. As others have stated in this comment, a re-calibration may be a good idea but I doubt its needed. These ships are pretty resilient. If nothing else, recal the compass. Its very easy and only takes a few seconds.

3. Your motors should be fine. I HIGHLY suggest before EVERY flight, you give the ship a chance to sit and "warm up" with the props spinning. While the ship and motors dont need to warm up per say, it gives you a chance to look and listen for anything that sounds out of the ordinary. Consider making that part of your pre flight check.

4. Make sure no debris got into the top of the motors. If so, gently clean them out.

5. Check over your props for any minor cracks, chips or the like. While a minor scar on the prop may not be anything to worry about, it is very cheap to replace them, but it inst cheap to replace/repair your ship when it has an issue at 250' up and 1/4mile away and hits the ground.

6. Prop guards are nice and have their place for flying close to subjects of various types, but overall they can really mess with how the ship handles and certainly add weight and reduce battery life. Im not a fan personally, but its your personal choice to fly with them or not.

I hope this helps.
