| Sound about right, pick it dirty, treat it very gentle, and hope for a late freeze as it will ruin the germ. We are going to start our harvest in about ten days, seed corn is a different animal than most think, and with all the extra care, equipment, etc. that are needed to make a quality bag of seed that performs up to a farmers standards, well this doesn't bring the price per bag down very fast! | |
