Subject: New drain tile job...need an expert!

Ontario
Does new tile drain work as well if put in when the dirt is verrrrry wet as apposed to dry? I partly can answer that myself, as where there was standing water when installing, it never dried out, but beside that up and down "stream"(either side) of wet holes it dried fine. Would the standing water let enough silt in to "seal" around the pipe? Will it get better over time-years? Sandy loam type soil.
Thanx.
