Absolutely agreed. I'm really just testing the stitching capabilities of the software (and my ability to use it) not the accuracy of the ndvi. BUT since the false ndvi is there, thought I'd give it a look as well. I really wish DD would export in a shape file for import to agstudio, sms, ect.
