Subject: RE: John Deere Farming Books

Wyoming

We have the JD haying book around here somewhere.

When I think back on what it says about haying, I have to chuckle. If I had to teach someone how to hay, I'd have to be there right beside them at every stage along the way to really impart useful information, because so much of haying is by feel, by weight, by nose, etc. I read all the books I could find on hay making. I really didn't learn much except the motions of haymaking until I started showing bales, hay, windrows, problems, etc to experienced friends and neighbors here.
