SE Ks is everything from really poor to good. I think we will come in with the corn crop (mostly harvested now) for the area at 20% below average. Ours will end up maybe 10% below due to some really good yielding bottom ground that took the drought stress better. Yields extremely variable mile to mile depending on rainfal.

Beans are still up in the air. the places that got no rain the double crop is pretty much toast but the areas that did could still have an average crop. Got a nice 2.4" rain last night - first significant rain in quite a while. Pod worms wreeking havoc in localized areas.

Wheat was below average.

Overall year is going to end up somewhat below average with some guys really taking it on the chin where the rain forgot to fall at all. Others will have a decent but not a bin busting year.
