I'm doing research in agriculture for software my organization is planning to build. We aim to automatically analyze aerial imagery and detect and classify individual crops in these images.
I was wondering what decisions can be made based on crop counts and crop heights, when growing sugar beets, corn, potatoes, etc. and what the benefits are.
Any chance you guys can help me out? Are you guys already experimenting with or using drones? What are your experiences so far?
