Subject: RE: Wheat acres ??

West Michigan
We cut over 400 the last few years with a 95x0 walker and 25 foot head. To do that many acres here you have to be willing to dry it. We had a wet couple weeks here in Michigan this year during wheat (our only real rain for the summer) and ended up drying atleast 2/3 of our wheat. It was dry for 5 weeks before that and 3 weeks after!!! I think most people should think about drying it for quality and test weight. The cost is very low to dry, just a pain cleaning dryer out ect..
