Jim I was never really hurting for water but 10 miles away in any direction they were. I agree with making the strips in the fall in wheat stubble but I had intended to put this field into drilled soybeans until a month before planting. Still can't believe all the night crawlers out there. I don't think I will consider drilling soybeans into wheat stubble anymore because of all the slugs out there in the stubble, It may be asking for trouble. Soybeans on strips no problem. Will you be at the Clay County Fair? I have a couple of things to discuss with you, don't worry it's not bad. Later.
