Subject: bird damage???

I am located in South Central New York along a river. In the pass three years we are seeing alot more Red Wing black birds. I currently grow 740 acres of corn and of those acres 400 of them are showing some bird damage. I have about 90 acres of 34h31 and 34a15 that is a total disaster. Have tried other varieties only 3 that seem to help they are Golden Harvest h-8920, h-7900 and 36b08. In this valley i am the first to plant and usually done a week before other farmers in the area finish up. If anyone has any ideas on what i should do to help with these birds would like to here from you. Crops in our area are going to be avg to above avg. Just east of here 20 miles alot of corn was lost in early july do to flooding.
